There's nothing more iconic of the American Muscle Car than the Trans Am; specifically the Bandit Trans Am.
The 1977 Pontiac Trans Am became immortalized in Smokey and the Bandit with Burt Reynolds, Sally Field, Jerry Reed and Jackie Gleason. What teenager in the 70's didn't want this car?
Though Pontiac is no longer in existence, you can still achieve your dream with the help of shops such as Year One who built the Burt Reynolds Edition Trans Am.

At the Year One Braselton Bash, a monthly car show benefitting the Hot Rodders Children's Charity, there were Bandit Trans Ams to see (along with other epic Muscle Cars and Hot Rods!) Our friends, Kevin and Kim King and their daughter Nancy, were kind enough to show us behind the scenes of Ghost Works Garage where this glorious car was built. Year One, with their collection of reinvented muscle car wheels, is the ultimate supplier around the world of the legendary honeycomb wheels.
Like all teenage boys at the time, my Babealicious would have given anything for this car. Now I want him to get one so that I can wear my wedding dress every time we go for a cruise in the Bandit Trans Am! I just hope I'm not the screamin' chicken when he drives!
See You Soon!
